Terms of Use
The basics of using our apps, in plain language.
Last updated: 12 October 2026
Agreement
These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of Fount, Daynue, Arabee, Awraqi, Harfy, Qamari, Mustahaq and LearnQuest (each, an "App") published by The Sky Apps ("we," "us"). By downloading or using an App, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the App.
License
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use an App on devices you own or control, for your own personal, non-commercial use, subject to Apple's Standard End User License Agreement and these Terms.
Your content
Any content you add to an App (photos, documents, tasks, projects, calendar events and similar) belongs to you. Since this content is stored on your device (and optionally your own iCloud account), you're responsible for keeping backups. We're not liable for content lost due to device loss, damage, deletion or iCloud account issues.
Purchases and subscriptions
Some Apps offer optional in-app purchases or auto-renewing subscriptions (for example, Fount Premium, Daynue Premium or Qamari Plus), billed through your Apple ID. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and can be managed or cancelled in your device's App Store account settings. Prices and features may change, and we'll do our best to give notice before changes take effect for existing subscribers.
Acceptable use
Don't use an App to do anything illegal, to reverse-engineer or resell the App, or to interfere with its normal operation. Arabee and LearnQuest are intended for use by children under a parent or guardian's supervision.
Third-party content and credits
Qamari, Arabee and Mustahaq are built on the generous work of others. We're grateful to everyone below, and we credit them here with thanks. Arabee's and Mustahaq's credits are further down.
The Holy Quran
The Quran text in the Uthmani script, its translations (including Saheeh International) and transliteration, the recitations and the word-by-word timings come from the Quran.com API, provided by Quran.Foundation. We display this content as provided and never alter the text of the Quran. Translations remain the work and property of their translators and publishers, and each recitation belongs to its reciter and other rights holders.
Prayer times and the Qibla
Prayer times are calculated on your device using the widely published astronomical method popularised by PrayTimes.org (Hamid Zarrabi-Zadeh), with the calculation conventions of Umm al-Qura University (Makkah), the Muslim World League, the Islamic Society of North America, the Egyptian General Authority of Survey, the University of Islamic Sciences (Karachi), and the authorities of Dubai, Qatar and Kuwait. These names identify each convention; it doesn't imply their endorsement. Times and Qibla directions are calculations, so please follow your local mosque or official announcement.
Adhan recordings
Qamari's adhan sounds are recordings from AlAdhan, a project of Islamic Network. We're grateful for their work in making these recordings available. The recordings are shortened to fit iOS notification limits but otherwise unchanged. They're performed by:
- Mishary Rashid Alafasy (Kuwait)
- Ahmad al-Nafees
- Mansour Al-Zahrani (Saudi Arabia)
- Mustafa Özcan (Turkey)
Each recording remains the property of its reciter and other rights holders, and is included under the terms published by AlAdhan and Islamic Network. These Terms don't grant you any right to extract or redistribute the recordings outside the App. If you hold rights in any of this content and have a concern, please contact us and we'll respond promptly.

Mustahaq

No warranty
The Apps are provided "as is." We don't guarantee they'll be error-free or uninterrupted, and information such as Hijri calendar dates, OCR text, receipt totals, dates read from a scanned photo or AI-suggested task steps may occasionally be inaccurate. Reminders and notifications depend on your device settings and may not always be delivered — always verify anything important independently.
Mustahaq provides estimates of end-of-service gratuity, final settlement, Zakat and inheritance shares based on our reading of published laws and sources. These estimates are for information only and are not legal, financial or religious advice. Laws change and individual contracts differ, so please confirm any figure with your employer, a qualified professional or the relevant authority before relying on it. Exchange rates and gold and silver prices are daily reference rates, not the price a bank, exchange house or jeweller will offer you, which usually includes a margin, fees, making charges or VAT.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Sky Apps is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of an App. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the App or subscription in question in the past 12 months.
Termination
You can stop using an App at any time by deleting it. We may suspend or discontinue an App or feature at any time; we'll try to give reasonable notice for anything that affects paying subscribers.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of an App will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of India.
If you're using an App as a consumer in a country that grants you mandatory local consumer-protection rights, this section doesn't take those rights away — they apply alongside these Terms.
Changes to these Terms
If we update these Terms, we'll change the "Last updated" date above. Continuing to use an App after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
