Privacy Policy
Straightforward, because the apps themselves are built to collect as little as possible.
Last updated: 2 November 2026
Overview
The Sky Apps builds Fount, Daynue, Arabee, Awraqi, Harfy, Qamari, Mustahaq, BaytFlow, LearnQuest and Hudu. This policy explains what happens to your data across all of them. None of these apps require an account, none show ads, and none sell or share your data with advertisers.
Data we collect
We do not operate our own servers that store your personal content. Each app keeps its data on your device by default:
- Fount — your drinks, goal, reminders and settings stay on your device. Apple Health, iCloud sync and weather are optional and work only with your permission; see Fount: Water Tracker below for full details.
- Arabee — children's profiles and progress are stored only on your device. Arabee uses RevenueCat to confirm purchases; see Arabee: Kids Learn Arabic below for full details.
- Awraqi — your documents, dates and the people you track are stored on your device. Copies (photos and PDFs) are encrypted and never leave it. iCloud sync and sharing papers with people you invite are optional, and Awraqi uses RevenueCat to confirm purchases; see Awraqi: Document Expiry Tracker below for full details.
- Harfy — text recognition runs entirely on your device. Scanned images and recognized text are never uploaded anywhere. Harfy uses RevenueCat to process and restore Premium purchases; RevenueCat receives your purchase history and an anonymous app user ID, never your scans or recognized text (see Purchases and subscriptions below).
- Qamari — events, reminders and settings are stored locally on your device. Prayer times are calculated on your device. If you tap "Use my location" or open the Qibla compass, your location is used only on your device and never sent anywhere. You can choose a city instead. Adhan sounds (recordings from AlAdhan, credited in our Terms) are built into the app, so playing them sends nothing to AlAdhan or anyone else. The Quran's text, translations and recitations are loaded from Quran.com (Quran.Foundation). Like any web request, this shares your device's IP address and which chapters or recitations you open with Quran.com, never anything personal from the app; see Quran.com's privacy policy. With Qamari Plus, you can turn on iCloud sync, which keeps your events in your own iCloud account, where we can't see them. Tapping a Quran or hadith reference opens it on Quran.com or Sunnah.com.
- Daynue — your tasks and projects are stored on your device and sync privately between your own devices through your personal iCloud account; we cannot see them. With your permission, Daynue reads and edits your calendar events through iOS, but never copies or uploads them (changes sync only through your own calendar provider). If you choose to import from Apple Reminders, your open reminders are read once and copied as tasks; Reminders itself is never changed. Photos you scan to create an event, and step suggestions from Apple Intelligence, are processed on your device and not kept or uploaded.
- Mustahaq — your salary, job details, saved calculations, work logs, reminders and documents are stored only on your device. Mustahaq uses RevenueCat to confirm purchases and downloads public exchange-rate and metal-price files; see Mustahaq: Gratuity Calculator below for full details, including how it uses the camera, calendar and notifications.
- BaytFlow — your homes, rooms, tasks, household members and history are stored only on your device, protected by iOS data protection and shared only with BaytFlow's own widget. Reminders are scheduled locally. With BaytFlow Premium you can turn on iCloud sync, which keeps your data in your own private iCloud account, where we can't see it. BaytFlow uses RevenueCat to confirm purchases; it receives your purchase history and an anonymous app user ID, never your household data.
- LearnQuest — your child's name, progress, garden and badges are stored locally on the device. We do not collect any personal information from children, and parent features sit behind a parental gate.
- Hudu — your nights, rest scores, sleep schedule, saved mixes and settings are stored only on your device. Sleep read from Apple Health never leaves it. Quran recitations stream from Al Quran Cloud, Isha times come from AlAdhan for the city you pick (never your location), and Hudu counts a few anonymous app events with TelemetryDeck; see Hudu: Sleep Tracker below for full details.
Purchases and subscriptions
Purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. Purchases and subscriptions in Fount, Daynue, Arabee, Awraqi, Harfy, Qamari, Mustahaq, BaytFlow and Hudu are managed with the help of RevenueCat, which receives purchase and entitlement information (such as your anonymous purchase ID and subscription status) needed to validate your purchase — never your name, email or the data inside the app. See RevenueCat's privacy policy for details.
Fount: Water Tracker
What stays on your device. Your drinks, goal and profile (such as weight, activity level and usual waking hours), reminder schedule, caffeine and electrolyte logs, drink routines, sweat tests and settings are stored on your device. They are shared only with Fount's own widgets and Apple Watch app. We never receive this data.
iCloud sync (Premium, optional). If you turn on sync, the drinks you log in Fount sync between your own devices through your private iCloud account. We cannot see them. Drinks that came from Apple Health are never uploaded to iCloud.
Apple Health (optional). Only with your permission, and you can change it at any time in the Health app or iOS Settings:
- Fount reads and writes water, so your hydration matches Apple Health.
- The Smart Goal reads your active energy. With Premium, if you turn these features on, Fount also reads your workouts and body weight. It uses them to adjust your daily goal and estimate how much fluid a workout cost you.
- With Premium, if you turn on "Save nutrition to Health", Fount writes caffeine from your caffeine log, plus estimated sugar, calories, sodium, potassium and magnesium from your drinks and supplements. If you edit or delete an entry, Fount updates or removes it in Health too.
Health data is used only on your device to provide these features. It is never sent to us, never used for advertising or marketing, never sold, and never shared with third parties. Fount doesn't store Health data in iCloud.
Location and weather (Smart Goal, optional). If you allow it, Fount takes an approximate (reduced-accuracy) location and asks Apple's WeatherKit service for today's temperature. This adds a little water to your goal on hot days. The request goes to Apple, never to us, and is handled under Apple's privacy policy. Fount does not store or track your location.
Notifications, widgets and Siri. Reminders are scheduled locally on your device. Widgets, Control Center, Siri and Shortcuts actions run on your device, using the same local data.
Update check. To let you know when a new version is available, Fount checks the App Store and downloads a small settings file from theskyapps.com. Like any web request, this shares your device's IP address. Nothing personal from the app is sent.
Purchases. Fount Premium is purchased through Apple. To confirm and restore it, Fount uses RevenueCat. RevenueCat receives a random, anonymous app user ID, your Fount purchase history and the technical information any internet request includes (such as an IP address). It never receives your drinks, health data or contact details.
No ads, no tracking. No account, no ads, no analytics SDKs and no tracking. Fount does not use the advertising identifier.
Estimates, not medical advice. Hydration factors, nutrition figures, electrolyte amounts and workout fluid losses are typical estimates for general wellness. They are not medical advice. If you're managing a health condition, follow your clinician's guidance.
Deleting your data. You can edit or delete any entry in the app. To remove everything, delete the app. If you used iCloud sync, you can remove Fount's iCloud data in iOS Settings › [your name] › iCloud. Samples Fount wrote to Apple Health can be deleted in the Health app.
Arabee: Kids Learn Arabic
Arabee is made for children and their families. We do not collect personal information from children or parents.
What stays on your device. Children's first names or nicknames, avatars, optional ages, learning progress, daily limits and settings are saved only on this device. They are never sent to us or to anyone else. Backups are files that you choose to save (for example to Files or iCloud Drive); we cannot see them.
Purchases. Purchases are handled by Apple. To confirm and restore Arabee Premium, the app uses RevenueCat, a subscription service. RevenueCat receives a random, anonymous app user ID, your purchase history for Arabee and the technical information any internet request includes (such as an IP address). It does not receive names, ages, progress or contact details. RevenueCat's privacy policy: https://www.revenuecat.com/privacy
No ads, no tracking. Arabee has no advertising, no analytics and no tracking. It does not use the advertising identifier, and it does not link to other apps or websites except behind a grown-ups-only check.
Photos. If a parent shares a dua card and chooses "Save Image", iOS asks for permission to add it to the photo library. Arabee cannot read the photo library.
Children's privacy. Arabee is designed to meet COPPA and GDPR-K requirements for children's apps. Because we collect no personal information, there is nothing for us to access, correct or delete. To remove everything, delete a child in the Parent Zone or delete the app.

Mustahaq: Gratuity Calculator
What stays on your device. Your salary, job details, saved calculations, work logs, reminders and documents are stored only on your device, in a file protected by iOS data protection. Document scans are excluded from device backups. We never receive this data.
Camera. Used only when you choose to scan a document, so its expiry date can be read on your device. Scans are never uploaded.
Calendar. Write-only access, used only when you ask to add an expiry date to your calendar. Mustahaq cannot read your calendar.
Notifications. Reminders (document expiry, payday, hawl and price alerts) are scheduled locally on your device.
Widgets and Siri. Your widget shows a summary saved on your device and shared only with Mustahaq's own widget.
Prices. To show exchange rates and gold and silver prices, including past prices for its charts, Mustahaq downloads public price files from the open-source Currency API by Fawaz Ahmed, served through jsDelivr and Cloudflare. It does this when you open those screens and occasionally in the background so price alerts can work. Like any web request, this shares your device's IP address with those networks. Nothing personal from the app (no salary, job, documents or chosen currency) is sent. Past prices are kept on your device so they don't need to be downloaded again.
Purchases. Mustahaq Premium is purchased through Apple. To validate and restore it, Mustahaq uses RevenueCat, which receives a random, anonymous app user ID, your Mustahaq purchase history and the technical information any internet request includes (such as an IP address). It never receives your name, email, salary or documents. RevenueCat's privacy policy: https://www.revenuecat.com/privacy
No ads, no tracking. No account, no ads, no analytics SDKs and no tracking. Mustahaq does not use the advertising identifier.
Deleting your data. You can delete saved calculations and job data in the app's settings. Deleting the app removes all of its data from your device.
Not advice. Mustahaq provides estimates for information only. It is not legal, financial or religious advice.
Awraqi: Document Expiry Tracker
What stays on your device. The people you add, your documents (type, number, country, issue and expiry dates), notes, phone numbers and reminder settings are stored on your device, protected by iOS data protection. We never receive this data.
Copies of documents. Photos and PDFs you attach are encrypted on your device (AES-256) with a key kept in your device's Keychain, available only on that device. They are excluded from device backups and are never uploaded, synced or shared, not even with iCloud sync or sharing turned on. Deleting a document or the app deletes its copies.
Camera and photos. The camera is used only when you choose to scan a document. Text is read on your device with Apple's Vision framework to fill in dates and numbers; scans are never uploaded. Photos you pick go through the iOS photo picker, so Awraqi can't see the rest of your library.
Face ID. If you turn on the Face ID lock, iOS handles the check. Awraqi never receives your face data.
Notifications and widgets. Reminders are scheduled locally on your device. Reminders and widgets name the document and the person and show the date, never the document's number. Widgets read a summary saved on your device and shared only with Awraqi's own widgets, and show nothing while the app is locked.
iCloud sync (Premium, optional). If you turn on sync, your list (people, documents, dates, numbers and notes) syncs between your own devices through your private iCloud account. We cannot see it. Copies of documents never sync.
Sharing with other people (optional). You can share a person's papers with people you invite, through Apple's iCloud sharing. They see, read-only: that person's name, relationship and role, and for each document its type, name, country, issue and expiry dates and reminder settings. Document numbers are included only if you turn that on. Copies of documents, phone numbers and notes are never shared. The shared information is kept in your iCloud account and theirs; we cannot see it. iCloud shows the people in a share each other's names or Apple Account email addresses. You can stop sharing, or stop receiving, at any time; the shared papers are then removed from the other people's lists the next time they open Awraqi.
Export and import (Premium and Business). PDF reports and spreadsheets are created on your device and go only where you send them with the iOS share sheet. Document numbers are partly hidden unless you choose to include them. A spreadsheet you import is read on your device and isn't kept after the import. We never receive these files.
Other people's details. If you add family members, domestic workers or staff, you're responsible for having their permission and for following any data-protection laws that apply to you, especially when using Awraqi Business for a company.
Purchases. Awraqi Premium and Awraqi Business are purchased through Apple. To validate and restore them, Awraqi uses RevenueCat, which receives a random, anonymous app user ID, your Awraqi purchase history and the technical information any internet request includes (such as an IP address). It never receives your name, email, documents or the people you track. RevenueCat's privacy policy: https://www.revenuecat.com/privacy
No ads, no tracking. No account, no ads, no analytics SDKs and no tracking. Awraqi does not use the advertising identifier.
Deleting your data. You can delete any document or person in the app. Deleting the app removes all of its data from your device. If you used iCloud sync or sharing, you can remove Awraqi's iCloud data in iOS Settings › [your name] › iCloud.
Not affiliated, not advice. Awraqi is an independent app and isn't affiliated with any government. Its reminders and travel check are based on the dates you enter; they aren't legal or immigration advice.
Hudu: Sleep Tracker
What stays on your device. Your nights (read from Apple Health, recorded with "Start sleep" or logged by hand), rest scores, sleep schedule and goal, saved sound mixes, downloaded recitations and settings are stored only on your device. Hudu has no account and no iCloud sync. We never receive this data.
Apple Health (optional). Only with your permission, Hudu reads your sleep from Apple Health to show your rest score and sleep trends. It never writes to Health. Health data is used only on your device: it is never sent to us, never used for advertising or marketing, never sold, never shared with third parties and never stored in iCloud. You can change this at any time in the Health app › Sharing › Apps.
Quran recitation and verses. Recitations stream from the Al Quran Cloud audio service run by Islamic Network, and the verse text shown with the adhkar comes from the same service. Like any web request, this shares your device's IP address and which recitation you play, never anything personal from the app. Recitations you download are kept on your device.
Isha times (optional). If you turn on "Start after Isha", Hudu sends the city you chose from its list to the AlAdhan prayer-times service and keeps the times on your device. Hudu never asks for your location.
Alarms and notifications. The smart alarm (a system alarm on iOS 26, or notifications on earlier versions), the wind-down reminder and the reminder before a free trial ends are all scheduled on your device.
Anonymous analytics. To learn which parts of Hudu help and where people get stuck, Hudu uses TelemetryDeck, a privacy-focused analytics service. It counts a small, fixed set of app events, such as finishing onboarding, opening the Premium screen, playing a sound, opening a story or starting a sleep session, with a few plain details (for example which sound, or which plan), plus the app version, iOS version, device model and language. Each signal carries an identifier that is hashed on your device, so it can't be traced back to you. Hudu never sends your sleep times, Health data, name or anything else that identifies you, and this data isn't linked to you or used for tracking or advertising. See TelemetryDeck's privacy policy.
Purchases. Hudu Premium is purchased through Apple, and the yearly and lifetime plans can be shared with Family Sharing. To validate and restore it, Hudu uses RevenueCat, which receives a random, anonymous app user ID, your Hudu purchase history and the technical information any internet request includes (such as an IP address). It never receives your sleep data, name or email. RevenueCat's privacy policy: https://www.revenuecat.com/privacy
No ads, no tracking. No account, no ads and no tracking. Hudu does not use the advertising identifier.
Deleting your data. You can edit or delete any night in the app, delete your whole sleep history and your downloads in Settings, and remove saved mixes from the Sounds tab. Nights read from Apple Health stay in Health, so turn off Hudu's access there if you don't want them read again. Deleting the app removes all of its data from your device. Hudu never deletes anything from Apple Health.
Not medical advice. Hudu offers calming content and basic sleep tracking. The rest score and the smart alarm are estimates for general wellness. Hudu isn't a medical device and doesn't diagnose or treat any condition.
Analytics and advertising
We do not use third-party advertising networks in any of our apps. Hudu is the only one that uses an analytics service: TelemetryDeck, anonymous and not linked to you, as described in the Hudu section above. Our other apps use no analytics SDKs. We may also use Apple's own aggregated, anonymized App Store analytics to understand overall install and crash trends, which Apple provides in a form that does not identify you.
Children's privacy
Arabee and LearnQuest are designed for young children. Neither app collects personal information from children: names, ages and progress stay on the device. Account-free by design, features intended for parents (such as settings) sit behind a parental gate. Arabee's purchase handling through RevenueCat is described in the Arabee section above. If you have questions about children's privacy, contact us below.
Your choices
Since your data lives on your device (and, optionally, your own iCloud account), you're in control of it: delete the app to remove its local data, or use iOS Settings to manage iCloud data for apps that sync. You can request more information or ask us to help by contacting us below.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, we'll update the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of an app after a change means you accept the updated policy.
